Nominate Your 2021 EatDrinkLagos Restaurant of the Year
Let’s do this again, shall we? We’re now in the 7th year of our annual Eat.Drink.Lagos Restaurant of the year award, so it is officially a thing.
2020 was rough for restaurants due to the pandemic. We were still in a pandemic in 2021, but things were a lot better. We had several new restaurant openings and re-openings (hello, HSE).
Last year, we introduced a new category for Restaurant of the Year to celebrate the real heroes of 2020 - delivery businesses - and we’ve decided to keep the two categories again in 2021.
Since 2016, this prestigious award (again, I say this every year) has been given to the best restaurant in Lagos as voted by our readers. In 2015, Nosa and I went out on a whim and announced the restaurant of the year as RSVP, let’s just say we weren’t into democracy yet, but we’ve changed now. Here are all the winners since that time.

We’re hopeful for 2022, and with that brief spiel, we’re excited to open nominations for the 2021 Eat.Drink.Lagos Restaurant of the Year.
Nominations are closed.
KEY DATES
Nominations will be open to the public for eight days until January 27, 2022, at 8 pm (WAT).
Eat.Drink.Lagos will share the top five (5) restaurants with the highest nominations in each category within three (3) days of nominations closing.
The public will then vote for the 2021 Eat.Drink.Lagos Restaurant of the Year from the five (5) restaurants with the highest amount of nominations in each category
Voting will be available for ten (10) days after each category’s top five (5) nominations are announced.
The 2021 Eat.Drink.Lagos Restaurant of the Year will be announced within two (2) days of the voting closing.
