Drink Lagos: The Most Fun Cocktails to Try Right Now 🍸✨

Although we can collectively agree that the cost of cocktails in Lagos is making us consider teetotaling and retiring altogether from the business of booze, there are certainly a few worth your hard-earned coins.

Whatever your preference — fruity and sweet, crispy and sharp, and everything in between — here’s a round-up of our favourite cocktails right now (bookmark this post! 📌).

Quick disclaimer: Prices may have changed between the time of our last visit and now. Don’t pop off in our DMs.

RASPBERRY GAMBLE

Where: Ki Bar & Kitchen

Location: 31A Oju Ologbun Close, Victoria Island

Price: N6000

This drink was pretty good, came really fast and also has the advantage of being really fun to look at. Alongside some wicked barbecue wings, Ki’s Raspberry Gamble is a win for us any day.

Honolulu & Safe Sex on the Beach

(L - R)

Where: HOV Lounge

Location: 8 Wole Olateju Cres, Lekki Phase I, Lagos

Price: N5000 and N3000 (respectively)

HOV Lounge is new-ish, so everything feels super fresh, including the cocktails. Their drinks menu is pretty straight to the point and no-frills per se, but both the Honolulu and Safe Sex on the Beach were delicious.

ARNOLD PALMER & MOOLY

(L - R)

Where: Sketch Café & Restaurant

Location: 5 Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island

Price: N5500 each

While the food at Sketch is sketchy, to say the least, we really enjoyed their cocktails. If you’re looking to have quick drinks with a friend or a quick meeting, this is a good option.

PINK LADY

Where: The Seetle

Location: 9 Keffi Street, Off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi

Price: N3500

It’s clear they pay attention to the menu at The Seetle — not only with the food, but also with the cocktails. One of our favourite drinks is the Pink Lady, with its drier, gently tart flavour. Magic.

THE SLOW & HERBAL G&T

Where: SLoW

Location: 2 Musa Yar' Adua Street, Victoria Island

Price: N3600 and N5700 (respectively)

Corona almost took SLoW from us and deprived everyone of that experience, but thankfully, we’re back to enjoying it now. The Gin & Tonic section of their drinks menu is epic, so you’ll never run short of options — and these 2 are some of our faves!

PEDRO & ZOBO

Where: SLoW

Location: 2 Musa Yar' Adua Street, Victoria Island

Price: N5800

Ease into your dinner at SLoW with their signature Pedro & Zobo cocktail. And maybe follow up with another? The bar and the drinks are the best things about this restaurant.

PINK SANGRIA

Where: Cafe De Flore

Location: 12 Glover Road, Ikoyi

Price: N6000

Cafe De Flore has a bad rap for the food, but the cocktails deliver on taste and presentation. P.S. if you’re looking to set up a restaurant and you’re reading this, you should definitely steal their bartender; she’s a keeper.
