The Lunch Club XIX: An ÀTIJE Experience

When was the last time you had a proper sit-down lunch without the company of your phone? That’s one of the many reasons we created The Lunch Club — to give busy Lagosians the opportunity to take a breath, enjoy a delicious multi-course menu and really connect with new people from all walks of life.

Last Saturday, September 16th, we got the chance to do that again, joining forces with ÀTIJE, an immersive culinary experience centred around Nigerian cuisine to host a one-of-a-kind event. The menu was a delightful fusion of salad, seafood and fruity desserts — including a surprise palate cleanser made of awin and baobab, reminiscent of growing up in Nigeria — and in between courses, guests were treated to bottomless glasses of wine and alcohol-free cocktails.
