Ramadan 2023: 11 Restaurants Offering Iftar and Sahoor Specials

After a long day of fasting, if you're too tired to whip up something in the kitchen, eating out or ordering in is the way to go. Luckily, there are a few restaurants and vendors in Lagos prepared to cater to your Iftar needs.

We wish Iftar deals in Lagos restaurants were more common, considering the sizeable Muslim population, but let's give kudos to the spots we found:

TILAPIA & TINZ

WHERE: 11 ODUDUWA CRESCENT, IKEJA GRA

Tilapia Tinz, an African seafood restaurant in Ikeja, is giving away a free Iftar meal to one "lucky" Muslim every day this week. They have a few simple rules of engagement, but the winners are picked at random and announced via their Instagram stories daily. Plus, delivery is free within Ikeja!

Lagos Fries

Lagos Fries is offering a special Iftar Platter menu with packages ranging from N6000 — N25000. Almost all the packages include fruits and vegetables, essential for your immunity and general well-being during this season. They're an online vendor, so you can have your order delivered to you.

P.S. You should check out our eating tips for Ramadan here.

Salma’s

where: 20/24 Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island

Treat yourself to some Lebanese cuisine from Salma's special 5-course Iftar menu. The menu starts with traditional dates, a great fruit to open your stomach after a long fast, followed by a delightful spread.

B.L. Restaurant

where: 147 Younis Bashorun & Sinari Daranijo Junction, Victoria Island

This Bulgarian-Lebanese gem is dishing out a delicious Iftar menu for just N20,000. You'll get to indulge in Lebanese sweets, starters (including dates), a main course, and tea or coffee.

We had a great experience back in 2016, but things might have changed since then, so fingers crossed 👀.

Kapadoccia

where: 16 Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island

Craving some Turkish cuisine? Kapadoccia has got you covered with a 3-course Iftar menu available daily from 6pm. Although they've got lasagna listed as a main (a bit un-Turkish, we know), the deal is still worth a try.

It's N20,000 per head, but remember, this price doesn't include the 5% service charge and 7.5% VAT. Read our mini-review of Kapadoccia here.

Noir Lagos

where: 4 Akin Olugbade Street, Victoria Island

For the same price as Kapadoccia's deal, you can enjoy Noir's 4-course menu if you're in the mood for something French. The catch? It's only available between 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, and there's no delivery option, so you'll need to show up in person.

343° North

where: 237 Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island

343° North, an Asian-fusion restaurant, offers a special 4-course Iftar Menu from 6 – 8 pm daily during Ramadan. The menu includes a non-alcoholic Welcome Drink, and you can top off your meal with a fruit salad (and ice cream) for dessert.

We reviewed 343° North back in 2021, and they were just okay — just a heads up.

On the pricier side….

Elysium

where: Plot 6, Block 89, Omorinre Johnson Street, Lekki Phase I

Elysium, a new-ish fine dining restaurant in Lekki, offers three Iftar packages, all priced around N30,000. Each package comes with a selection of fruits and vegetables.

Gusto

where: 256 Etim Inyang Crescent, Victoria Island

Gusto offers set 4-course Iftar menus for groups of 2 and 4. Each person gets their own main course, soup, and drink, while salads and appetizers are shared. The package costs N30,000 per person.

Check out our Gusto review here.

And if you’re also not in the mood to cook before dawn…

Midnight Deli

If you're looking for a suitable Sahoor meal that doesn't require cooking, Midnight Deli is a great option.

This 24/7 online vendor delivers throughout Lagos, operating out of Lekki Phase I (so you have an idea of delivery fees and time). Their menu features everything from rice to pasta and burger combos, which all include a free Deli drink.

Ci Gusta

where: 2 Ibiyinka Olurunbe Close, Off Amodu Ojikutu, Victoria Island

For Suhoor, you can either walk in or have Kaakehs delivered from Ci Gusta until 3 am. They offer a variety of flavors with prices ranging from N3,500 – N7,000. Enjoy!

Happy feasting!
