Everything You Need to Know About EatDrinkFestival '22 🥳

We’re officially only 2-ish weeks away from this year’s EDF and it’s all guns blazing now! It’s been weeks and weeks of planning, reviewing and doing our best to create a pretty special experience for y’all to end 2022 on a high note — and now, it’s almost here, which is awesome.

For our Festival OGs, you most likely know what to expect and maybe anticipate just a few changes here and there every year; and for our “virgin” attendees, you might need some pointers in the right direction. Whichever category you find yourself in, a handy post that has all the crucial info you need for this year’s Festival is always a good thing. So, let’s do it.

When is it?

EatDrinkFestival is on the 23rd and 24th of December, this year.

What time does it start and end?

12:00pm — 9:00pm

Where’s the location of the event?

We’re back at Amore Gardens in Lekki Phase I.

What’s the atmosphere like?

It’s usually buzzing with people, music, activities, and, of course, a ton of ready-made food and drinks.

What kind of food can I expect, this year?

Want a great burger? Quality pasta? Bomb Jollof? As always, we’ll have an extensive selection of meals, drinks and snacks served up by some of the best chefs, restaurants and street food vendors in the city.

How much does the ticket cost?

Tickets are available now from N2,170 and payment for food and drink is additional.

Where and when can I buy my ticket?

You can buy it online. You can also buy it at the Festival on both days of the event. Read more about EatDrinkFestival's ticket policy here.

What is a “Cashless Festival” and how does it work at the event?

When you arrive at the event, you can get a wristband and load it with as much or as little funds as you'd like to purchase food and drinks from vendors. The EatDrinkFestival wristband contains a chip, which can be read by a special tablet device given to all vendors. This wristband needs to remain on your wrist for the duration of the event.

Inside the event, you will also be able to load additional points onto your wristband using cash or a credit/debit card. Once you have loaded points onto your wristband you can visit any of the food or drink vendors on-site.

Can I get a wristband before the event?

Absolutely. This year, you can beat the queues and reserve/top up your Festival wristband prior to the event online. Simply follow the instructions in your ticket confirmation email to do this.

What kinds of activities will there be?

There’ll be lots of games, fun competitions and most importantly, the opportunity to mingle hard.

Are children allowed to attend the Festival?

EatDrinkFestival is totally family-friendly. Tickets are not required for children under 12, but they must be accompanied by an adult who has a ticket in order to attend the Festival.

What’s parking going to be like?

There will be designated, safe parking for vehicles on both days and attendants will be available to help you.
