EDL Weekender: Wings, TNIF Vol 2, and Neon

In case you missed it, this week, we published out 2017 IJGB Guide to Lagos for our diaspora friends and checked out the old Delis in its new iteration.

ALSO, our complete Festival vendor list is out!

This week's playlist is short, sweet, and very Drake-inspired.

Wings N Sides has a physical location

I so much love it when businesses/vendors, which happen to be blog faves, upgrade. Like, love it soooo much. Wings N Sides is getting a physical location and you should probably check it out this weekend.

It's on 29 Fola Osibo, Lekki I AND she'll be at Festival too!

Thank NOK It's Friday: The December Series Vol. 2

Wine Tasting at Art Cafe

Found this on instagram. Feels like one of those "if you know, you know" events and if you didn't know, those are the best types of events in Lagos.

Limehouse Pop-up Bar

One of our Festival regulars is running a pop-up bar at Hubmart (Ikeja) tonight. The pop-up bar is upstairs at the Hubmart Deli and it'll run from 12 pm 'til late. You can swing by and grab a drink and some small bites

Thrift Projects

newcCatalog II2.png
Imagine a thrift store that feels very much like an exhibition; No cluttered racks, no piles to dig through… just a selection of stylish items coupled with good music, a well-designed space, and an ambience that makes you want to indulge. On Sunday, December 10, 2017, Thrift Projects will be hosting its first shopping experience at A Whitespace Creative Agency. Going back to the idea of sustainable fashion and the movement to reduce, reuse, and recycle, the pop-up is designed to exhibit and sell a carefully-curated selection of pre-owned items while celebrating style as a medium of self expression. The Purpose: We know thrifting can be exhausting, finding great pieces take forever, and it’s almost impossible to have a pleasant shopping experience at any Nigerian market. We’ve decided to provide an alternative, using spatial design as a tool. We are transforming the entire process of thrift shopping into an experience that appeals to almost all five of the shoppers senses through music, photographs, scent and most importantly, curated stylish pieces that are actually affordable. We’ve said it before, “Start building your 2018 wardrobe here. You’ll save a lot!”

Fee: Open to All

Time: 11:00AM - 7:00PM

Location: A Whitespace, 58 Raymond Njoku, Ikoyi
